In 2007, I got to spend an hour in a WWII P-17 Stearman.
This was at "Fantasy of Flight", Polk City, Florida.
A great ride. It was a little heavy on the controls, but responsive. The view was wonderful.
From everything I can find, this particular aircraft has been completely
rebuilt and painted in Navy colors.
