This TriMotor Ford, came to Louisville on tour. I HAD to try it out!

For the price of two seats, they let me sit in the right seat and fly.

It was loud, lumbering and heavy on the controls.
 If you could fly a tank this might be what it feels like.
Note that the control wires are on the outside of the plane!

It was a blast. Instrumentation is sparse. The pilot had a hand held GPS.
 Note that only the center engine instruments are in the cockpit. (See next photo.)
The center engine is running at 550rpm.

First Class :) It seats 8 passengers plus the crew, the pilot and me.
