Barcelona
Sept 20 through Sept 24
Revised Monday, June 17, 2013
It was easy to say we weren't happy with our apartment.
An open air bus tour highlighted the wonderful architecture of Barcelona!
This was constructed as part of the Olympic Games doubling as a radio tower.
The architecture varied from old to modern. See the sail?
Dinner anyone?
The Jean Leon Winery.
We toured the winery. It was pristine!
Then tasted wine.
Then matched our wines with cheese and bread.
How do they keep track of all these bottles?
No Jeanette! It's not wine yet!
One of the harbors in Barcelona.
More "Tall People". If you 'click' on the picture, it will download a movie.
Note: The download could take a minute or more, it's almost 1MB.
These open air markets are huge. There didn't seem to be insects anywhere!
Yep, we all have a sense of humor.
The last taste of beer, wine and Spanish Tapas.
And the "Tall People" kept coming!
Time to leave Spain. That's Karen waving from our balcony.
We left Barcelona after this photo, and spent the
night in Madrid to catch an early flight home.
There was no more beer or wine, so it was time to leave.
Karen & Eric left the next day for Italy ... looking for more wine and beer.
The End for now!
